Storigami

penguin If you put the word storytelling and the word origami together, you get storigami. It is fun to use your imagination as you see the shapes emerge and put them into a story. Take your first step towards storigami with PENGUIN PETE.

Use a square of paper.

1 Fold into a triangle.
Pete lived on the hill

2 Open triangle and place crease vertically.
and that was covered with snow.

3 Fold the sides as shown.
He wore a black coat,

4 Fold the top point in.
and held his head low,

5 Turn the model over.
He rolled over on his tummy,

6 Fold the point up.
and kicked snow with his feet.

7 Fold the paper in half as shown.

8 Lift up the head and squeeze flat at the dot.
Then he picked up his head, saying:

9 “I’m Penguin Pete!”

10 If you pull the back part away and together, the head will nod up and down.

11 Here is the completed action model!
