Fun with Set Theory

The teaching and learning of Set Theory can be made interesting using simple yet effective methods. The following exercises will help children learn and enjoy the concept of Set Theory.

What you need: A board with figures, as shown in Figure 1. The drawing can either be black and white or colour. This is just one example; you can use as many different patterns as you wish based on how difficult or simple you want the game to be.

What is a Set?
A set is a well-defined collection of objects. Individual objects in a set are called elements or members of the set.
