The system we are seeing now, seems to be a very confusing scenario. It has many dimensions. On one hand the corporation school teachers are asked to take private classes to improve the percentage levels and they are spending extra hours at school to see that their wards can compete with others at the 10th class level. This is at the rural level. At the urban level the pseudo culture promoted by the corporate schools bringing out children who are neither proficient in english nor in their mother tongue is giving a different dimension to the education scenario.Common schools are ideal if they can somehow cover all the aspects-from socio-economic level to education level.Unfortunately we have politicians who talk about mother tongue being the medium of instruction and about it industry jobs the same tone.Creating students with lesser confidence levels and with more anxiety levels is the result of this double standard.Your article tried to cover all that confusion . Thank you.
